The ME Team Shows Heart

Moore Exposure is joining the Sandhills Start! Heartwalk, a coming together of communities to raise funds that will fight the nation’s number-one and number-three killers – heart disease and stroke.

Several Moore Exposure employees have been affected personally by heart disease and understand the importance of raising money for the American Heart Association.

I lost my husband to this disease at the young age of 26 and feel the strong importance to raise money and awareness for this cause. The research funded by the Heart Walk’s proceeds will be a vital aid in the awareness and education of heart disease.

Owner Jean Moore lost her father in 2002 to heart disease. “Everyone in the world knows someone that is fighting heart disease or has succumbed to it,” Jean says. This is one of the reasons she is so passionate about this walk and involving the entire Moore Exposure team.

In addition to participating in the 1- and 3-mile walks, and enjoying the fall weather, we all are creating hope, inspiring change, celebrating lost loved ones, and honoring survivors of heart disease. Please come out on Oct. 9 at Festival Park to help our community fight heart disease.

If you cannot make it to the walk, please consider giving a donation through the Moore Exposure Heartwalk home page. All proceeds go to the American Heart Association.

Ninette Sawyer, a 1988 graduate of Fayetteville’s Westover High School, has been with Moore Exposure since 2008 and is also working toward a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Methodist University.
