When I work with schools, I use my past experience as a high school cheerleader for the Pine Forest Trojans. Just as cheerleaders use creative and unique ways to get the crowd involved in games, I now develop creative ideas for my customers to get their audiences involved in everything from sales to fundraising.

Working with schools enables me to meet with people throughout various communities and develop logo items for school stores, clubs, athletic teams, and special event committees.

Spiritwear is the top priority with most schools. Have you ever seen a cheerleader who did not like to look good? I never let my school clients look anything but their best.

The most exciting aspect of my job as Moore Exposure’s schools consultant is the smile on a customer’s face when we deliver a new tee shirt or other item bearing their school mascot.

All of us at Moore Exposure love to help our customers, who are our first priority. Our goal is to serve you so well that you will never want to go anywhere else.

When I separated from the service, I understood the answer. Soldiers are unique individuals, shaped by a very unique culture over 200 years in the making. We speak a second language familiar only to those who served. There is a brotherhood that we will always share.

My career in specialty advertising has given me the opportunity to work with Soldiers on projects such as creating a new challenge coin, unit tee shirt, or reenlistment award. In a way, the relationships that I have developed and the services that I provide, make me feel like I am still part of the Army team.

My technical proficiency in specialty advertising, coupled with my understanding of military culture and tactics enables me to guide my clients to products that work for them no matter what the situation.

For me, there is no greater professional satisfaction than providing high quality, pertinent, and practical products and services to my brothers in arms. Whatever the project may be, I am motivated by my desire for American Soldiers to have the very best I can possibly provide. Because I have been there myself I know how much it means to them.

I am proud of our men and women who continue to serve our great country. I know through experience the hardships and sacrifices that the members of our armed services endure so the rest of us won’t have to. For this they deserve the very best.

Sweetie Stewart wears many hats at Moore Exposure, but her favorite role is that of resident wedding and special events expert – a title she has earned after years of experience. Not only does she have loads of personal experience between three daughters and family friends, she has also helped plan numerous weddings, engagement parties and debutante events through Moore Exposure.

Concerning the bride’s budget, she says, “We try to get everything a bride wants within their budget. If we can’t, we always come up with creative alternatives to make them happy.”

On her favorite wedding favor, she mentions, “We did a wedding last summer where we created a logo for the couple and used it on all the wedding favors and accessories, including banners used on the bridal party vehicles.”

The following is a short list of Moore Exposure products for wedding planners:

* Coordinated correspondence from Save-the-date notes to Invitations to Thank-you notes.

* Personalized napkins

* Guest towels

* Wedding favors

The reuse of several items and materials is one green aspect of Moore Exposure’s office building . Pictured here is an old automotive lift, left by the building’s original owners, that serves as a meeting table.

Reuse in the broadest sense means any activity that lengthens the life of an item. Recycling, on the other hand, is the reprocessing of an item into a new raw material for use in a new product–for example grinding the tire and incorporating it into a road-surfacing compound.

Reuse made sense to owners Steven and Jean Moore for a couple of reasons:

Leaving the lift in the building proved to be “greener” than removing it from the building. It would be one less, very large item that would be going to the landfill. In fact, only one pickup load was taken to the landfill during pre-renovation demolition.

It also turned out to be more cost effective to leave the lift in place than to have it removed from the building. It also saved the Moores from having to buy a table for the new meeting room.

In the planning stages, ideas went back and forth about what to do with the lift. Eventually it was stabilized with cement and topped with a custom-cut piece of glass.

The lift table has become one of the Moore Exposure employee’s favorite places to sit and eat lunch or hang out during happy hour every Friday at 4 p.m.

Within the next couple of weeks, we’ll post a report on another example of reuse in our building – a conference table made of discarded wooden doors and Jeep rims.

Pens and pencils may be the most recalled promotional item.

Recall is important to advertisers who want some assurance that their target market is retaining their message.

An independent survey into the effectiveness of promotional products listed the top five most-recalled promotional items:

Writing instruments

Shirts

Caps

Bags

Mugs/Drinkware

What can advertisers read into this information?

Of the five categories listed above, writing instruments are generally among the least expensive. Many pens and pencils are available for much less than a dollar. Most advertisers are on a budget, especially in these tight times. However, they can buy more pens with their funds and, in turn, perhaps touch more members of their target market effectively with a writing instrument.

This information is particularly helpful to advertisers who are trying to develop a brand or build program awareness among a large audience.

Of course, as with any promotional item category, advertisers can choose from many options – good, better and best. If you are an advertiser who is trying to impress an important customer base, there are plenty of higher- end pen options.

Quill pens are known for their full-color logo domes on the cap and Cross pens make fine awards for recognizing your best customers or your highest-producing employees.

Bic, the industry’s largest supplier of pens, has dozens of options that fit any budget.

The question we get most often about our new headquarters building is, “So what makes your building green?”

Of course, that’s green as in environmentally friendly. Here is a list with some of the reasons:

Reused existing building – Eliminates demolition and minimizes the amount of construction waste sent to the landfill.

Eco-friendly roof – Corrugated steel roof was manufactured 2 ½ miles away which reduces transportation impact, has a 100-year life, and is recyclable at the end of its life

Mezzanines –added about 2,300 square feet without increasing the building’s footprint, thus preserving green space

Skylights – installed eight to provide natural lighting and reduce the need for electrical lighting

Lighting – high-efficiency florescent light bulbs used throughout

Ceiling fans – installed to reduce HVAC usage and improve air circulation.

Natural, durable, and renewable materials used – granite, glass, wood, bamboo, cork, and concrete

Permeable parking lots – Gravel surface will allow storm water to recharge and reduce storm water run-off

Landscaping – native or low-to-zero maintenance plants

Hot Water Heater – An on-demand, tank-less hot water heater is 30% more efficient than standard hot water heaters.

Eco-Friendly Pesticide injected into the building’s framing.

Through the Public Works Commission’s CONSERT Pilot Program, Moore Exposure can modify settings of key electrical appliances via the internet.

Shower Room –encourages employees to bike or walk to work and exercise during lunch

Low-flush Toilets

All appliances are Energy-Star approved.

Kitchen sink faucet sensor prevents water from running unnecessarily.

Water cooler dispenses filtered hot or cold water directly from the main water line. No bottled water will be purchased.

Kitchenware – No disposable plates, cups, flatware

LED exit lights – Use a minimal amount of electricity.

On site Recycling

Cleaning– Moore Exposure uses a Certified Sustainable Sandhills Green Business Program cleaning company, Sparkle Clean, which utilizes only natural, bio-based cleaning products.

It was a 70-year-old automotive shop but has been transformed into office building space for our business and a handful of tenants including the green certification business, Sustainable Sandhills. Not only is this our new office, it is the prototype so to speak for affordable ‘green’ building ideas.

We have to say that it’s easier to say you’re going to renovate something in an old downtown area with old buildings trains and limited parking. Doing it has been another experience altogether. It has been educational, fun, exciting as well as, exhausting. But once we got started, the community really participated. We tapped George Rose to help us lead the charge and of course, guidance from Sustainable Sandhills has been crucial.

Our goal is not only to do our part for the environment but to inspire others. But we did not do this alone and we are very appreciative of the help from our green partners in this ‘green building’ effort.

The following are partners in our “green building” effort.

It’s our business to make a name for yours

We measure our success by your success. We live for great results and satisfied clients. If that means tracking down something unusual to make a campaign sizzle or jumping through hoops to make an event or award special, we’re on it.

The beauty of promotional products is that they establish great top-of-mind awareness. We take that a step further by turning up the volume when it comes to broadcasting your brand message– utilizing our experience and creativity to make your promotional campaigns work harder and be more memorable. That’s what it’s all about.

Moore Exposure understands our military’s rich tradition of awarding challenge coins, and that each coin must represent the professionalism of the soldiers who will receive them. We work directly with the commanders and command sergeant majors who will be awarding them. In addition, we have produced challenge coins that support reenlistment programs, safety programs, and family readiness groups.

We have years of experience not only producing custom commemorative and challenge coins but in creating original designs that pay tribute to members of our armed forces.

We consider it an honor to work on projects for those who give of themselves in service to our country.
